Does the app require an internet connection?
No. Offline PDF Toolkit is 100% offline. It makes zero network requests and works without any internet connection.
Where are my converted files saved?
By default, output files are saved in the same folder as the original file. You can change this to a custom folder in the conversion settings.
What file formats are supported?
For conversion to PDF: .docx, .doc, .jpg, .png, .webp, .gif, .bmp, .tiff. PDF Tools work with any .pdf file.
Can I open password-protected PDFs?
Yes. Click the lock icon on a protected file and enter the password. Once unlocked, you can use all PDF tools on it.
Is my data collected or sent anywhere?
No. We collect zero data. No analytics, no telemetry, no tracking. See our Privacy Policy.
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Open the app and click "Restore Purchase." On macOS, purchases are tied to your Apple ID. On Windows, entitlement is tied to your Microsoft Store account.
The app is not opening on my Mac. What should I do?
Make sure you're running macOS 12 (Monterey) or later. If you see a security warning, go to System Settings > Privacy & Security and allow the app to open.
